Lady Gaga set to release new album in March
Lady Gaga is set to release her new album on March 7.
The 38-year-old pop star has taken to social media to share details of her new record, Mayhem.
Gaga explained: "The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved."
The award-winning star explained her creative process resembles "a shattered mirror: even if you can't put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way".
Mayhem will feature 14 songs, including two previously released tracks, Die With A Smile and Disease.
Gaga will serve as an executive producer on the project, alongside her fiance Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt.
The pop icon is also producing the record alongside Andrew, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein.
Gaga has yet to release a full track list for the new album. However, the third single will be released during the Grammy Awards on February 2.
In 2024, Gaga revealed that she was embracing "the challenge of being a 38-year-old pop star".
The New York-born singer acknowledged that she was entering a new phase of her music career.
She told Buzzfeed Canada: "I'm 38 years old, and it's kind of fun to embrace the challenge of being a 38-year-old pop star and figuring out who I want to be now and what I want to say because I really love women.
"I really want to be a voice that deserves to be part of our community."
Gaga also revealed that she wants to have a family with Polansky .
The Poker Face hitmaker - who got engaged in 2024 - said: "I am so happy to be in love, and I'm so excited to have a family, so that's definitely number one. But also, I really believe in the ability to grow as a person."
