We all travel with multiple electronic devices so having ONE compact high-speed charger with multiple ports is a big bonus for travellers.

Anker, one of the world’s leading makers of chargers and power banks has unveiled a range of compact high-speed USB-C chargers with multiple ports.

The chargers are available in multiple power capabilities ranging from 30W, 50W, 70W, 150W and 240W and designed to meet the different charging needs of a range of products such as Apple Watches, AirPods, iPads, MacBooks.

As opposed to traditional silicon-based chargers, the new Anker chargers use gallium nitride technology to enable faster charging speeds and reduced heat generation — and they are equipped with a dynamic temperature sensor and a power tuner chip, that actively monitor temperature and adjust power output to ensure the safety of connected devices.

Additionally, aligning with eco-conscious consumer preferences, they are built using 75 per cent post-consumer recycled plastics in their casing and recyclable packaging.

The cheapest option is the 50W, two-port charger which sells for $74.95, but my pick would be either the Anker 150W four-port charger which sells for $149.95 or the 240W four-port desktop charger which costs $199.95. Both of these have power outputs spread over the ports to maximise the charging capabilities.

The new range of Anker USB-C chargers are available exclusively through Apple’s Australian online store at apple.com/au and at select Apple stores.
