Tony Munyonga has hit an unbeaten 43 to steer Zimbabwe to a three-wicket victory, with four balls remaining, over Ireland in the second of their Twenty20 internationals at the Harare Sports Club.

The first game on Saturday was abandoned because of rain and while grey skies also threatened Sunday's clash, Zimbabwe came through to take a 1-0 lead with one more match to come on Tuesday.

Ireland were put in to bat by their hosts and scored 8-137 off their 20 overs, with Lorcan Tucker top scoring with 46 while Trevor Gwandu took 3-24 in his four overs.

Zimbabwe were in trouble as Craig Young (4-24) took out their top order cheaply but recovered from 5-64 at the halfway mark of their innings.

Munyonga's 43 off 30 deliveries proved decisive as they went on to reach their target on 7-141 with four balls remaining.
