Josh Giddey has had arguably his most productive outing for Chicago in their latest NBA win at Detroit.

The 22-year-old Australian has 11 triple-doubles to his name from his three-season spell with Oklahoma City and fell just two rebounds shy of registering another during the Bulls' 122-112 win over the Pistons.

Off-season signing Giddey had 11 points, 10 assists and eight boards during his 28 minutes of court time as Chicago improved to 6-9 for the season.

Giddey posted a plus/minus of +13, his second-best of the season and third-highest on the team during Monday's win, and through his first 14 games as a Bull has averaged 12.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists, shooting a career-high 37.3 per cent from three-point range.

"Plus-minus can be skewed," he said.

"But it is often a good representation of the impact a player has while they're on the floor. I'm very hard on myself. So I've always wanted to impact winning."

Giddey proved perfect support in Michigan for Nikola Vucevic, who led the Bulls with 29 points and 12 rebounds, while Coby White and Zach LaVine had 25 points apiece.

LaVine scored 16 of his haul in the final team.

"I thought we did a great job. In that fourth (quarter), I think Zach (LaVine) got really hot, (Vucevic) had a great night, and I thought complementary pieces around them were really good tonight, so it was a total team effort," Giddey added.

His fellow Boomers star Dyson Daniels, meanwhile, was heavily involved in a thriller for Atlanta at Sacramento.

The 21-year-old, who entered the game with a steal in 12 consecutive games, had 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four blocks, including one in the final seconds, in their 109-108 come-from-behind victory over the Kings.

Daniels' clutch defensive play on Sacramento star De'Aaron Fox finished off a late back-and-forth affair.

The Kings' Keon Ellis led all scorers with 33 points, including nine three-pointers, while De'Andre Hunter had 24 points, Trae Young 19 assists and Clint Capela 14 rebounds for the Hawks (7-8).

Elsewhere, Damian Lillard (18 points) hit a driving layup with 3.9 seconds left to give Milwaukee a 101-100 victory over Houston that snapped the Rockets' five-game winning streak.

Toronto and Orlando enjoyed double-digit wins, while the Los Angeles Clippers held on to beat Golden State.

Earlier in New York, Jalen Brunson had 26 points and 11 assists and Karl-Anthony Towns added 24 points and 12 boards as the Knicks (8-6) rolled to a 134-106 victory that extended the Washington Wizards' losing streak to nine games.

Jimmy Butler scored a season-high 30 points in his return from a sprained ankle, Tyler Herro added 18 and the Heat (6-7) erased an early 19-point deficit to beat Philadelphia 106-89 in Miami.

Joel Embiid played for the third time this season with the 2024 Olympic gold medallist scoring 11 points in 31 minutes for the 76ers, who have lost 11 of 13 games to open the season.
