Hillarys Boat Harbour: Body found floating in waters on Monday, circumstances treated as not-suspicious

A body has been found by members of the public floating in Hillarys Boat Harbour.

Police were called to the popular waterfront after an 86-year-old man’s body was found in waters several metres from a number of moored boats and a rock wall just before 7am on Monday.

A police spokeswoman said the circumstances surrounding the man’s death were not being treated as suspicious.

“Police attended and at this time his death is not believed to be suspicious,” she said.

The man’s family has been notified of his death.
