Fun fete to help Geographe school

Geographe Primary School with hold its Great Geo Fete tomorrow to raise money to upgrade the school.

The fete promises to be a day of fun, with bouncy castles, pony rides, food, entertainment, stalls and music.

Event organiser Tracy Burroughs said the event would raise money for much-needed upgrades to classrooms.

"The money will go towards the supply of additional digital devices for the classroom and to revamp the library and modernise the facilities to further encourage literacy," she said.

"For both the additional technology devices and the library upgrade, we are aiming to raise $40,000.

"We are hoping the Great Geo Fete will give us a head start towards our fundraising goals."

The event will also include arts and crafts, plants, second-hand books and several community market stalls.

A fun zone with three bouncy castles, a bucking bull, bungee run, pony rides, climbing wall and bungee air extreme will be available for $20 per entry.

Geography Primary School mascot Super Poss will also be enjoying the events on the day.

The Great Geo Fete will run from 9am to 1pm tomorrow at Geographe Primary School.
