This year's Country Women's Association's annual State Conference will be held in Dunsborough.

Getting locally acquired Lyme disease recognised in Australia and issuing a working with vulnerable persons card are just a few things on the agenda.

The 91st State Conference will be held at Wyndham Resort from July 20 to 23, with representatives from CWA groups from across WA set to descend on the South West town for the event.

Dunsborough CWA president Lesley Sproule said she and a group of members had been preparing for the conference for about 18 months and she said the influx of more than 300 representatives was likely to be great for Dunsborough and Busselton.

"It should mean some really good trade," she said.

The women will discuss more than 20 agenda items over the three days and Mrs Sproule said the outcomes would be very important.

"We approach the Government to do certain things on our behalf," she said. "It covers laws for the next few years."

Each branch will send two delegates to the meeting with guest speakers Stephany Durack, Cyril Ayris and Ani Lewis each set to present at the conference.
