West Australians can now have their say on whether Collie, Geraldton, or Mandurah will be crowned the State’s top tourism town for 2023.

Voting has opened for the 7NEWS Top Tourism Town Awards, with thirteen WA holiday spots named finalists across three categories.

Finalists include Exmouth, Leonora, Tom Price, and York in the Small Tourism Town Award category.

Coolgardie, Dwellingup, Gascoyne Junction, New Norcia, Northcliffe, and Pemberton are fighting for the Tiny Tourism Town Award.

Tourism Council WA chief executive Evan Hall encouraged the public to get behind their favourite holiday destination.

“It could be a town you’ve only just discovered but where you felt incredibly welcomed in your time there or it could be the place you visit year in, year out because you always have a fantastic experience. This is your chance to have your say,” he said.

The winner of the Top Tourism Town Award will receive a $20,000 airtime package to promote their town on regional television, with the winner of the Small Tourism Town Award picking up a $10,000 airtime package and the Tiny Tourism Town winner receiving a $5,000 package.

The winning destinations will go into a national competition for the chance to be named Australia’s Top Tourism Town, Small Tourism Town or Tiny Tourism Town.

By voting, you can go into the draw to win a $5000 holiday in WA or a $500 voucher to spend at any RAC park.

Visit here to vote. Voting closes 5pm, April 26.
