Yallingup school's open for fair
Yallingup Steiner School is throwing open the invitation for its Spring Fair tomorrow.
The event, running from 10am to 3pm, will feature children’s activities, pony rides, refreshments, handmade crafts, clothes, puppet shows, live entertainment and local artisans.
There will be a treatment centre offering back and foot massages and a range of fair trade, recyclable and environmentally friendly items for sale.
Organiser Angie Caldow said the fair was the school’s major fundraiser for the year and encouraged anyone interested to come along.
“We’re a creative lot so it’s a creative kind of fair, ” she said.
“We’re known for our food — people travel far and wide for our famous barra burgers and lentil burgers and we’ll have lemonade and ice cream.
“It’s all made by Yallingup Steiner School parents and we’re all health conscious and into natural food.”
The fair will take place at the corner of Caves Road and Wildwood Road tomorrow.
