A Busselton woman will face court today on drug related charges after she was allegedly caught with 80 ecstasy tablets and more than seven grams of methamphetamine on Friday.

The 33 year old alleged Rebels bikie gang associate was refused bail on Friday after police apprehended her following an on-foot police chase.

Busselton Police senior sergeant Steve Principe said police executed a search warrant at a Breeden street address around 12.20 pm and saw the woman outside.

“Officers apprehended her after a short chase on foot and found a fake coca cola can in her handbag with a false lid; they removed the lid and found the drugs concealed inside,” Sen Sgt Principe said.

The woman was charged with two counts of possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply and possession of a smoking implement.

Police said the woman was a passenger in the car of the Busselton man and known Rebels associate charged last Monday after police allegedly found 6g of methylamphetamine and $6000 concealed in his car.

Sen Sgt Principe urged anyone with information about drug distribution to contact police.
