Johnny Cash & Co will return to Busselton next weekend to take their fans on a nostalgic and artistic journey of one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century.

The tribute band, made up of Fenton Wilde, as Johnny Cash, and Narelle Belle, as June Carter, will play at Bayview Geographe Resort for one night only, singing some of Cash's classics, alongside musicians Steve Guard, as Bobby, Michael O'Brien, as BillyJoe, and Colin Whisson, as Earl.

The group have been together for almost two years and have gone from strength to strength with their performances.

Belle said the group formed after a mutual and deep appreciation between Fenton and herself for Cash. "We decided to form the band immediately and were very confident it would work and it has," she said.

"We have never looked back from the very first day we talked and to see the joy on the audience's faces makes every gig feel like our first."

Audiences can expect a fully themed and costumed two-hour show with favourites Jackson, Ring of Fire and Boy Named Sue.

Belle said there would be plenty of banter and stories throughout the show.

"Last time we were in Busselton we attracted all the Johnny Cash fans around the area, ranging in age from 20 through to 80," she said.

"We even had some audience members coming dressed for the night in their cowboy and cowgirl clothes.

"We're currently in negotiations with towns in the region to organise more gigs."

Johnny Cash & Co will perform at Bayview Geographe Resort on July 11, from 6.45pm.

Tickets cost $85 and include a buffet meal.
