Fans are being urged to support the Magpies at Sunday’s grand final replay against the Eagles.

Busselton was left reeling last weekend after a nail-biting clash with Collie saw them locked in a draw at the final whistle.

Busselton Football Club president Kris Meares said it was crucial everybody got behind the Magpies this Sunday at Hands Oval in Bunbury.

“We will book as many buses as it takes; we’re quite happy to put 10 buses on if we can fill them and they’ll leaving from the club between 11am and 11.45am for a cost of $10 per person,” he said.

“We’re going there like it’s the first grand final again and we want the supporters to do the same.”

Mr Meares said the team would attack with “the same gusto” and intended to bring the flag home, but would need the support of the Busselton community.

Busselton Football Club life member and diehard supporter Mike Adams had his sights set firmly on Sunday’s replay. He said he wouldn’t miss it for the world and hoped others showed the same level of loyalty.

“There was a good crowd there last Sunday and we want to see the same numbers again this Sunday,” he said.

“We know the players will do their best out on the field, so the least we can do is show our support by getting behind them,” he said.
