Busselton women are invited to shop, have fun and give back to women in need at a ladies swap meet next month.

It has been organised by the Cornerstone Church and aims to raise money for a program that helps at-risk girls gain skills and self-confidence.

Called Shine Today, the program is based in Geraldton and is raising money to help more girls in regional WA.

Organiser Karlein Crawley said the fundraiser was all about women helping women.

"The whole heart behind this project is to help at-risk girls and give them the training and skills so they can stay on track in life," she said.

"Although it is not a local beneficiary, it's nice that we can support other women who may be worse off than us.

"It's a great event where women of all ages can come together and have a great time together."

All clothes for the event will be donated and sold for $2 an item, there will also be a nail bar, food and entertainment at the event.

Organiser Jess Davey said this was the first year the swap meet had been held, but was hoping it would become an annual event.

"Shine Today is an awesome project and we really wanted to do an event where women could come together and help each other out," she said.

"I used to live in Geraldton and I knew about the fantastic work they do there and I thought it would be a great project to support."

Clothing donations are still needed for the event and can be dropped off at the Cornerstone Church offices.

The swap meet will be at the Cornerstone Auditorium, 6.30pm to 9.30pm on August 7, and costs $5.
