Busselton women are encouraged to celebrate women's health at the Pink October Morning next month.

The event will provide women with important health information, while having fun and creating new friendships.

Anne Mackay from South West Women's Health said she hoped the event would raise awareness for the health problems impacting women.

"We will cover everything from smoking, to alcohol, women's cancer and heart health," she said

"We want to try and get as many women as possible to the session and for everyone to have fun and learn something.

"It's about bringing women together and creating friendships."

The event will include a morning tea, a photo booth, and a clothes swap where each item only costs $1, and face painting for children.

Entry is $5 with all proceeds going to The Cancer Council of WA, Heart Foundation, Women's Health and Salvation Army Busselton.

South West Women's Health are asking for clothing donations for the clothes swap to be made to BESS Home and Community Care on Kent Street.

The Pink October Morning will run from 9.30am to noon on October 15 at the Salvation Army Hall on Kent Street. For more information contact South West Women's Health on 9791 3350.
