Spine-tingling anticipation for Sautov performance

Busselton Dunsborough Times

As part of his WA Spring tour, violinist Attilla Sautov will perform in Busselton with the Mueller International Chamber Orchestra at St Mary’s Family Centre next month.

Sautov started playing the violin at four years old in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and his talent and master classes with some of the world’s best violin players later saw him win many international competitions.

He moved to Germany in 2000 where he worked as a concert master with several leading orchestras, including the Cologne New Philharmonic Orchestra, in some of the world’s most prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House.

Sautov has become known for his flamboyant onstage presence, and his renditions of composer Paganini’s works have sent thrills down the spines of audiences.

The repertoire for the Busselton show will be varied, including Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from Serenade in C, Brahm’s Hungarian Dance 5 and Vivaldi’s Orchestra in A minor.

The performance will take place on Thursday, October 4 at 7pm.

Tickets are available from Callows Corner News and at the door one hour before the concert.
