Snappers to capture SW rock
A group of Dunsborough photographers will give back to the environment next month when they clean up rubbish from Sugarloaf Rock.
Photographers for the Environment will take part in the clean-up and will then shoot the scenery.
Photographer Christian Fletcher said he came up with the idea about a year ago as a way to pay homage to the environment.
"I wanted to get like-minded photographers together who were interested in the environment and climate change," he said.
"As photographers the environment is essentially how we make an income so it's important we help look after it.
"We will be taking photos after we've cleaned the site up and we'll also be taking pictures of the rubbish we've collected and then upload them to our Facebook page.
"The aim will be to get photographers from all over the country on board, there is no prize involved, it's just about helping the environment."
The clean-up will take place at Sugarloaf Rock on July 19 from 3.30pm and is open for all photographers and their families.
