Six sharpshooters from Dunsborough Primary School have made the State grand final of the Freo Footy Skills competition.

Cooper Smith, Lincoln Gray, Jude Faulkner, Matthew Keenan, Liam Hesketh and Ben Barnett progressed from the semifinal to compete in the Statewide event which will be the curtain raiser to the Fremantle Dockers and Port Adelaide game at Patersons Stadium this weekend.

Physical education teacher Louise Chapman said the school ran the initial program as part of the PE program.

A number of other students in Years 4 to 7 also took part in the semifinals but the final six were selected to go to the final round.

The group will compete in a long bomb competition, Kwick Kick and handball team competition.

The boys attended the State semi-finals on Friday, July 18 at Fremantle Oval.
