A trial run for first simultaneous global endurance event was held at Busselton foreshore last Wednesday.

In less than a month Busselton will host the only Australian leg of the Wings for Life World Run.

On May 4 thousands of runners will set off on a unique race staged in 37 different courses in 35 different countries in six continents.

In Busselton, runners will set off at 6pm for the event to raise funds for spinal cord injury research. The starting time will present a special challenge to runners in Australia who will be running through the night. Those taking off from Busselton will run along the Bussell Highway, Geographe Bay Road, and then along Caves Road until a “catcher car” overtakes them and they finish their race.
