Road weather warning issued

GABRIELLE YOUNGBusselton Dunsborough Times

FESA’S State Emergency Service is urging people to take extra care on the roads this morning with rain and bad weather expected to make driving conditions dangerous.

Motorists were advised to slow down, turn their lights on and keep a safe distance from other drivers and to pull over and park with their hazard lights on if heavy rain affected their vision.

Motorists were also asked to be careful on gravel roads as surfaces would be slippery and muddy, and vehicles could become bogged.

If bad weather causes damage to your home phone the SES on 132 500, in a life threatening situation call 000.
