Busselton police have seized illicit drugs, a sawn off shotgun and stolen property during raids on Rebels associates’ properties.

Police attended a house in Lilly Crescent, West Busselton on Thursday and found cannabis, drug paraphernalia and cash.

A 23-year-old man was charged with possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a prohibited drug and possession of stolen property.

He will front Busselton Magistrate’s Court on March 25.

On the same day, police seized a sawn off 12 gauge shotgun, 66 rounds of ammunition and drug paraphernalia during a search of a Marine Terrace property.

Inquiries are continuing and charges are pending.

Detective Rob Travers said the incident was related to outlaw motorcycle group activity.

“It’s concerning that these sorts of weapons are out there in Busselton,” he said.

“In Perth they’re dime a dozen, but down here it’s unusual.”
