Police appeal for Busselton bite witness

A 49-year-old Perth man was bitten on the face by a woman in Busselton on Friday night.

Busselton Police acting officer in charge Sergeant Todd Carrington said the man was dancing on the crowded dance floor at the Esplanade Hotel at about 11.40pm when an unknown person pulled him backwards by his shirt.

"An unknown woman then approached him, pulled his head toward her and bit him on the left cheek, drawing blood," Sergeant Carrington said.

Police are calling for any witnesses to the incident to contact them on 9754 9555.
