A new event aimed at bringing together locals from across the region at Black Brewing Co will kick off next month.

See World Sessions organiser Drew Leverett said the event would bring “the best the South West has to offer”, with craft beer, live art and live music.

Gold Coast producer Paces will headline the event, with Palace, Kachina and Ricky Green also performing.

Mr Leverett organised the event to bring together people from across the South West.

“I sort of felt there was a bit of a disconnect between people from each of the different towns and this gives locals the opportunity to go to something collective,” he said.

Mr Leverett said he hoped the event would showcase what the region offers.

“It’s to create the whole idea of ‘this is the South West’, with artists, music and amazing venues,” he said.

“It’s the South West culture and the absolute best bits brought together in one place which hasn’t been done before.”

Mr Leverett teamed up with Louise Robinson, founder of app Local Advantage to offer designated tickets to locals.

The first See World Sessions event will be held at Black Brewing Co on September 17 from 5pm.

Tickets are $59 and can be purchased from the Local Advantage app or from megatix.com.au.
