Residents in West Busselton and Ambergate are now eligible for super-fast internet in the latest National Broadband Network rollout.

Two fixed wireless towers will be activated in the Capes region in recent weeks, giving more than 500 premises access to the technology. Member for Forrest Nola Marino welcomed the news and said the move showed the Coalition Government was delivering on its pledge to get the NBN rollout back on track.

"Since the election the fixed wireless network has grown exponentially, now reaching more than 240,000 homes and businesses in rural and regional Australia, compared to just 39,000 premises in September 2013," she said.

"It is great to see more South West residents getting access to this critical service.

"Construction trials have demonstrated we can dramatically lower the cost and time it will take to deliver fast broadband to all Australians."
