Movember cause takes village flavour

Busselton Dunsborough Times

Dunsborough's answer to 1970s band the Village People will perform at Mealup Everyday Gourmet next Thursday for a fund raising sundowner with a difference.

Scott ‘Cowboy’ Baxter, Malcom ‘Indian’ Chow, Adam ‘Cop’ Lane, Michael ‘Construction Worker’ Hutton and Richard ‘Biker’ Arnold have formed their own super group‘ The Mo-age People’ in support of Movember and men’s health.

Mr Hutten said the theme was appropriate because the group’s members were six Dunsborough villagers.

“I love dressing up, we did it last year as the three amigos and this year it will be even bigger.”

The sundowner will be held between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, with moustache-friendly fare and Hutton Wines on the menu.

Prizes will go to the best real moustache, best fake moustache, Man of Movember and Miss Movember.

Tickets are $30 per person, with proceeds donated to the Movember cause.

To book, phone Mealup on 9755 3411 or email food@mealup.com.au.
