Mason swaps snow for sun

Former extreme snowboarder Todd Mason has swapped the snow for the sun and sand of Dunsborough to launch a new energy business.

The business, Green Gateway, has been set up as a one-stop shop for sustainable energy and building services.

Mr Mason said he would work closely with home and business owners to make a real difference to their cash flow, with smart and sustainable solutions that met their real needs.

“Power is more than solar panels on your roof,” he said.

“From backyard-friendly hydrogenerators and grey-water systems, to feature walls created with living plants, our vision is to design the right solution for you.”

Mr Mason said it was difficult for buyers to know who could deliver a future-proof investment with confusing rebates and an aggressive market place.

To celebrate Green Gateway’s launch, Mr Mason is offering a free LED light bulb or power-saving EcoSwitch to anyone who books an energy assessment before the end of January.
