Jetty works re-tendered
A second call for tenders to complete the Busselton Jetty will be made this month after responses failed to meet council conditions.
Busselton Shire Council chief executive Mike Archer said five submissions were made last month to complete the final sections of the jetty of which four were shortlisted to price-up the works.

The list was narrowed to two after one withdrawal and one failed to meet the tender deadline but the two failed to meet the conditions of the tender documents.
Mr Archer said a three-week re-tender period would start in two weeks and staff were keen to see the works completed as soon as possible.
The work will include the replacement of pier 13, construction of heritage interpretation node four and completion of section 10.
