The Capes region will be treated to world-class performances when the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne ensemble visits Busselton, Augusta and Dunsborough this week.
Residents will have the opportunity to hear works by Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, Handel, Saint-Saens and Tchaikovsky during the ensemble’s diverse program of classical music.
Consisting of a group of international musicians based in Cologne, Germany, a city famous for its University of Music, the ensemble performs around 300 concerts a year in countries including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Germany and New Zealand.
Performing under the motto “Classical music the world over”, the ensemble aims to inspire people to enjoy classical music.
The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne performs at St Mary’s Family Centre in Busselton today, at Augusta Anglican Church on Tuesday, and at Our Lady of the Southern Cross Church in Dunsborough on Thursday.
