Here's cheers to the Busselton Show

It’s show time for serious beer drinking steward and judge.

Friends and family of Chris Paterson are particularly fond of him at this time of year.

The Busselton Show wine making and brewing section steward recruits some of those closest to him to help judge and set up the entries.

“They are now experts at beer drinking,’’ the steward told the Times.

This year they will also be guided by expert brewer and Brew-n-bottle owner Darryl Nicholls.

A new category has been added for 2010 with fusion beers now open alongside the stout, dark ale, bitter, pale ale, lager, draught and ginger beer classes, as well as wine categories.
