Busselton’s Carols by the Jetty event will bring a host of angels, wise men and even Father Christmas to the foreshore this weekend.

Organiser Terry Thompson from the combined churches of Busselton said the community Christmas celebration drew around 2000 people last year.

“Every year there is the mystery of how Father Christmas and the three wise men will be arriving for the children to guess,” he said.

“Last year he arrived on a jet ski.”

Mr Thompson said in addition to a visit from Father Christmas, visiting children’s performer Sean W Smith would put on an interactive performance.

Children are invited to come dressed as angels or nativity characters for the annual angel parade and there will be food vendors, a band and a choir.

Carols by the Jetty will be held from 6.30pm-8.30pm on Sunday, December 14.

People are advised to bring low deck chairs and blankets.
