Father, son charged over drugs, firearms

An associate of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang has been charged with drug and firearm offences by Busselton detectives.

Police searched an address in Geographe on Wednesday and located a small quantity of cannabis, cash and ammunition.

Items associated with the sale of prohibited substances were also allegedly found.

The 25-year-old man was charged with possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply and possession of unlicensed ammunition.

He was bailed to appear in Busselton Magistrates Court on May 14.

The man’s 51-year-old father has also been charged by summons with possession of unlicensed ammunition, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He will appear in Busselton Magistrates Court at a later date.
