Dunsborough teen in model finals

A Dunsborough teenager has been named as the WA finalist in a national modelling competition.

Vienna Anderson, 14, is competing against five other State finalists in the Dolly Model Search. The competition famously unearthed supermodel Miranda Kerr and offers the winner a trip to New York and 24-month contract with Chadwick’s Australia.

Vienna said she was “shocked but really happy” when she was chosen as the WA finalist last month.

The MacKillop Catholic College student, who loves netball, dancing and cross-country running, said she was a big fan of Dolly.

“I thought it promoted a healthy lifestyle for teenagers like us and I thought I’d enter and see what would happen, ” she said.

Vienna was recently flown to Sydney with the other finalists to take part in a photo shoot for the magazine’s July edition.

The overall winner will be decided through an online voting competition.
