Dunsborough students go back in time

Busselton Dunsborough Times

Dunsborough Primary School’s biannual Medieval Fete is on this weekend, with medieval re-enactments, a maypole and a royal procession.

Organiser Helena Nicholson said this year’s fete would be “bigger than Ben Hur”, featuring performances by the school choir and dance team, school drama Jabberwocky, a drumming procession and a performance by the Busselton Senior High School Brass Band.

Dunsborough organisations will be involved, offering everything from brownies to a wine bottle lucky dip as well as various displays.

The fete, which will be held at the primary school from 10am on Sunday, is a fundraiser for various requirements at the school, including extra reading books and sustainability composting bays.
