Dunsborough man hit by car dies of injuries

A 21-year-old Dunsborough man hit by a car in Dunsborough on Wednesday night has died of his injuries.

The 21-year-old was heading towards Busselton near Dunsborough Lakes Drive at 11.30pm when he was hit.

Dunsborough Sergeant Craig Anderson said the man, who was airlifted to Perth after the accident, passed away at 4.10pm yesterday after surgery.

Sgt Anderson said the 22-year-old female driver, who stopped at the scene of the accident to assist, has not been charged.

“Everything indicates it was just an accident,” he said.

“It is just a tragic set of circumstances.”
