Cliff’s Kitchen will hold a final 2016 lunch with a Christmas wind-up at St Mary’s Family Centre in Busselton next Wednesday at noon.

The kitchen, now in it’s 19th year, opened as a soup kitchen in 1998 and now serves meals to more than 100 people each week.

Parish administrator John Morris said while the kitchen mainly served the disadvantaged, it opened its doors to the whole community.

“We have people who are backpackers come along and some people who might be lonely and just want good company,” he said.

Mr Morris said Cliff’s kitchen thrived from the support of the many local volunteers who helped to serve and produce meals each year.

Diners will be joined by 25 young Perth-based musicians who will play Christmas carols. throughout the afternoon. Lunch will start at noon.
