Singer-songwriter Travis Caudle will head south next month to unveil his latest EP Your Little Trick.

The EP was recorded in Tennessee and will be released globally next Wednesday before the South West tour, which includes dates in Busselton, Yallingup and Margaret River.

Perth-based Caudle said on reflection, everything seemed to "happen really naturally" for the recording, "which I think is always a great sign that the music was supposed to be made".

"I, by accident, found the room where I created the demos for these songs," he said.

"The decision to go back into the studio to record was made almost on the spur of the moment, and even the artwork concept and title of the EP seemed to appear effortlessly."

Your Little Trick was produced by Grammy-nominated Mark Moffatt, engineered by multi-Grammy award-winning David Hall, and features some of Nashville's most sought-after session musicians, according to Caudle, with some members playing on recordings for Sheryl Crow, Dolly Parton and Jessica Mauboy.

Caudle described Your Little Trick as "eclectic", and it has picked up early radio support in the UK, the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Caudle will play two shows in Busselton, including one at the Vasse on June 6, from 8.30pm, and another at Stilts Bar on June 7, from 5.30pm.

Caudle will also play Margaret River Hotel on June 5, from 8.30pm, and Swings and Roundabouts in Yallingup on June 7, from noon.
