Millions of dollars have been committed to Busselton's Foreshore, Health Campus and roads this week as the major political parties vie for votes in the lead up to the Vasse by-election.

The State Government this week committed $2.1 million to the City's Foreshore Redevelopment project and $2.8 million to widen Bussell Highway, while the Nationals pledged $10.7 million for information technology at the Health Campus.

Announcing the $2.1 million Lotterywest grant for a new skate and BMX park and two playgrounds at the foreshore on Tuesday, Premier Colin Barnett said it was a coincidence the funding occurred in the lead up to the Vasse by election.

Find out more about what the grants will mean for Busselton projects in tomorrow's Busselton Dunsborough Times.
