Book early for Jetty swim

The Busselton Jetty Swim committee is well into the planning and organising stages of next year's 21st birthday celebrations, to take place on Sunday, February 14.

The celebration of the SunSmart Busselton Jetty Swim will be two days of family-friendly fun for all ages at the foreshore of Geographe Bay.

Individual competitors and teams of two and four people will swim the 3.6km course out and around Busselton's most famous landmark, and those keen on getting involved are urged to enter early because there are only 2100 places available in total.

Registrations opened at the start of October with an early bird prize of a scenic helicopter flight for two people over Geographe Bay provided by Westralia Helicopters for those who register before midnight on Monday, November 30.

Entry is $60 a person until December 31, after then it will increase to $70 a person.

Entries close on Wednesday, January 27, unless sold out.
