Banner fest canvasses creative youth
Artistic youngsters are needed to play a creative role in the design and painting of a banner to be showcased in Perth CBD’s main street.
Young people aged between 12 and 25 years old can get involved with an entry for the City of Busselton and Southern Rip in the Banners in the Terrace competition under the guidance of community artist Cassandra Gamble.
The dynamic banner design needs to encompass the theme of “Future Focus” and could be displayed along St George’s and Adelaide Terrace in Perth.
To be involved, you need to commit to eight 1 1⁄2-hour sessions after school on Tuesdays between March 26 and May 28.
Anyone interested should contact Southern Rip co-ordinator Tracie Hazell on 0407 701 574 or email southernrip@live.com.au to register.
