Bakers Delight Busselton will attempt to raise more than $3000 for breast cancer awareness this month.

The company, which started its Pink Bun Campaign this week, will sell hundreds of pink buns with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Network Australia.

During the campaign, Bakers Delight bakeries will also be selling pink lady paper silhouettes, which can be purchased for a gold coin donation for customers to write messages on and that will be displayed in the store.

Owner of Bakers Delight Busselton Candy Paxton said the company was a long-time supporter and was delighted to be able to help support such an important cause.

"We're making 86 pink buns a day and around 1500 over the period of the campaign," she said.

"We hope to raise between $2500 and $3000, with all profits going towards the BCNA.

"Breast cancer is a disease that affects so many women and we hope the community will come down and buy a pink bun and support this cause and find a way to cure it."
