A Busselton woman who organised a morning tea and auction last week has raised $565 for SAFE.

The event, which was held at Intelife Busselton last week, was organised by Corrina McKenzie, who said she believed the organisation was a worthy cause because it supported local animals.

SAFE dog co-ordinator Geoff Cussworth said the funds would go towards SAFE being able to take on animals and have them checked by a vet, vaccinated, microchipped and desexed.

“We usually have to start from scratch with each animal so this money will be able to help with that,” he said.
