With views through to Geographe Bay and terraces of flowers, Michael and Del Bibby’s garden will be a visual treat when opened to the public for a weekend in October.

Mrs Bibby said she decided to take part in Open Gardens Australia to inspire more people to take up gardening.

The garden features native plants blending in with the adjacent bushland and an array of heritage roses.

The garden is at 39 Bruce Road, Dunsborough, and will be open on October 15 and 16 from 10am to 4.30pm.

Entry costs $6 with all proceeds going to the Red Cross Naturaliste Unit.

A morning tea will also be held on November 2 with rosarian David Ruston.
