School expansion pushed

Education Minister Sue Ellery visited the region on Tuesday to officially open the newly expanded administration block at Dunsborough Primary School.

Vasse MLA Libby Mettam said the investment provided a valued boost to the school and took the opportunity to highlight why the next step should be the second stage of the school’s expansion.

She said there was an overwhelming need for an expanded canteen and covered area at the school, and adding value to the current school site ensured the school could continue to provide additional benefits.

“I look forward to working with the school community and the McGowan Government to see the next stage of this project supported,” Ms Mettam said.
