The curtain will drop on a veteran Busselton drama teacher’s career after one last production.

The upcoming production of Kids at Sea will be Chris Bradford’s final fling as she prepares to hang up her teaching hat after 26 years at West Busselton Primary School.

The beloved teacher says she will miss watching her students gain confidence and enjoy themselves.

Ms Bradford said her dedicated and enthusiastic students were working hard to make the show the best it could be with 55 cast members all set to bring yet another one of her creations to life.

“It’s encouraging to see such enthusiasm continuing considering it has been a difficult year,” she said.

“I think it’s great to still see kids putting their hands up and wanting to be in the show.

“I will really miss doing the production because that brings the whole community together and I love the fact that lots of staff get involved as well as a big band of parents who come in and contribute in many ways.”

Kids at Sea will be on stage from September 15 to 17.
