Hundreds of families and artists converged on the ArtGeo Cultural Complex on Saturday for a day filled with fun and frivolity as part of the LiveLighter Busselton Fringe Family Day.

The big crowd enjoyed a wrestling ring, face painting, belly dancing and live music.

Songbird Sings Sinatra star Emma Louise Nisbet said she was excited for her sold-out show at the Weld Theatre that night, while Fairy Lexi decorated the faces of gleeful girls and boys.

In the heart of the complex, bands from St Mary MacKillop College serenaded the crowd, while artists painted and a giant possum offered free hugs.
