Dunsborough’s Wild Capers theatre group returns to the LiveLighter Busselton Fringe in its 10th anniversary year to perform Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads 2 at the Weld Theatre and Dunsborough Hall.

After selling out six shows of Alan Bennett’s famous works last year, Wild Capers founding director Liza Black is back with “two of Busselton’s best actors, Janet Dickinson and Patricia Motherfole”.

“In a day and age which is all visual, this is a show of great words that will make audiences laugh and cry, written by the foremost contemporary British playwright,” she said.

Written for television and re-imagined for the stage, the show combines the monologues A Cream Cracker Under the Settee and A Lady of Letters, representing Bennett’s famous bittersweet style.

“The main point of excellence is the amazing script, which is poignant and emotional yet will have audiences laughing in retrospect,” Mrs Black said.

“It appeals to all ages as great writers are timeless.”

Talking Heads 2 will be at the Weld Theatre from February 23-24 and on February 28 at 5.30pm and Dunsborough Hall from March 1-3 at 5.30pm. Tickets are available via Busseltonfringe.com.au.
