Cruise ship to make its maiden visit to Busselton
The next scheduled cruise ship to arrive in Busselton will be the Azamara Journey, making her maiden visit here on on Friday December 22.
The Azamara Journey can accommodate 694 passengers on its 15-day cruise.
The vessel will arrive at around 7.30 am , and depart at around 6pm .
The Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association manages the shoreside experience for cruise ship passenger arrivals at Busselton.
A tailored welcome is offered to passengers of every cruise ship.
This includes a team of volunteers greeting passengers, and providing advice and information to help them explore Busselton and the surrounding region.
The MRBTA holds “cruise-ready” workshops for local tourism operators in order to help them prepare for the visits.
The workshops ensure that current and future shore excursions meet the changing expectations of cruise passengers.
