Busselton pair named in All Stars team

Busselton water polo players travelled to Rockingham at the weekend for the State Country Water Polo Championships.

Busselton played five games during the weekend, taking on Geraldton, Bunbury, Port Hedland, Karratha and Peel.

Despite bringing home the wooden spoon, players Anthea Brown and Mitch Gerritzen were selected in the State All Stars team and will represent WA in the national competition later this year.

Busselton look forward to hosting the next State Country Championships on the 2019 March long weekend.

While the season wraps up next week, the club welcomes players to join pre-season training, which starts in September at the Geographe Leisure Centre.
