Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School bus service to offer convenience for students in Busselton and Dunsborough

The school run to Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School will be made easier for Capes students next year as the school increases bus services. The South West private school announced services will increase from Yallingup, Dunsborough and Busselton as student enrolments soar for the 2022 school year. Head of school Matthew O’Brien said due to the service being a direct to school route, the time spent travelling for the Bunbury school students was comparable to local Busselton and Dunsborough school services. “Students from the Yallingup, Dunsborough and Busselton areas have always been a significant part of our school population and this has continued to increase in the last two years,” he said. “Our private direct route bus service is very popular with students and parents, it being available to BCGS students only with the buses being driven by a school-employed driver. “The service is direct with only two or three main stops, before heading straight down the highway to the school ... this ensures our students get to school in a very similar time to if parents had driven.” The additional services come after the school’s after-school stopover and boarding sleepover services proved popular for Capes families, allowing students to participate in after-school activities.
