Stitches needed after boy cut with knife in Busselton

Busselton detectives are investigating an incident in which a 15-year-old boy was cut with a knife, requiring stitches, in West Busselton.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 12 about 4:45pm when the victim was approached by four males, described as being 15 to 18 years of age.

Police say he was walking along a footpath between an oval and wetlands, that runs perpendicular to Queen Elizabeth Drive between Bussell Highway and College Avenue.

During the incident the victim was cut on the arm with a knife and pushed to the ground before the males left the area, heading north along Queen Elizabeth Avenue.

Three of the group were described as fair skinned and the fourth was dark skinned.
