Astronaut captures amazing Capes coast
An astronaut aboard the International Space Station has captured incredible images of WA’s Capes coast between Margaret River and Busselton.
The photographs capture a cloud system passing over Cape Naturaliste and even show waves breaking over the reef.
Taken by American engineer and astronaut Christina Koch, the images are from some of her earliest days in her mission, which is expected to see her set the record for most days spent in space by a woman on her first space flight.
The spectacular swell couldn’t have come at a better time, with the Margaret River Pro wrapping up last week.
